High PR (5) / low traffic adult hosting domain for sale

Scott owns BanPro NET hosting service and had planned to cater to adult sites using this domain but he's never developed it and doesn't plan to now. He offered it to me but I don't even have time for my own site right now so I told him I'd post it on a couple of adult boards to see if anyone else might be interested in it.

It's a good domain with a high PR already, just needs a site attached to it.

He is correct, the domain is not a pr5 it shows banpros backlinks and pr rating.

Allthough the domain name may be worth money it DOES NOT have any pr, (atleast not a 5 it shows.)

Hardlinks, I get what you're saying, and it's true in part that the PR came from being pointed to the banpro.net site during this last google update, but that doesn't make it a scam or invalid.

The point is, if you attached a site to this domain it would hold a PR 5 until the next big google update, where it would either fall, rise or stay the same depending on the SEO of the site you attach to it and the links you get in place for it. The same is true if it's still pointed to the banpro.net site at the time of the next update, if they don't continue to grow their content, SEO and linking then the ranking will raise or lower accordingly.

But again, NONE of this is a scam by any means! And for swami to suggest that it was and accuse me like that was f---ing pathetic!!!

Why would this PR5 domain hold value to someone? For me, if I were in the hosting business it would be because having that PR would make it much easier to build a fast and huge collection of backlinks via exchanges -- meaning the PR could easily stay the same or rise with the next updates, not to mention the traffic generated by the links. All of this is easier to do when you're starting with a decent PR then from scratch, that's why I thought someone here might be interested in it.

Just in case you're an idiot and not a scammer, I'll explain something to you:

The domain currently holds a PR5.
Let's say you stop pointing it to banpro.net and put a site there. It's true that the site will still hold a PR5 for a couple of days until google rescans it, but the PR5 wont get you any visitors because since google didn't rescan your new site it will not have any keywords for which to send visitors there.

Hence - the current PR5 rating is meaningless and worthless.

Yes it would hold that rank til next update but thats just for show (its faked). The fact is that allthough it shows a pr of 5 google knows better, it was just a bug that lets that page show that rank, It wont perform or act like a pr5 at all. It will just have a green bar half full when viewing

Yes your point of possibly of being able to get more links (cause it shows 5) is there BUT the chances are most links worth the trouble getting will have you getting responses like the post above, calling it a scam. Unfortunate, but true.

Unfortunately most your arguements to its value are invalid. It is a decent domain and will probably sell, but pushing its value for pr is pretty silly.

You can take this as shittalk or whatever, but its not intended to be. Its just the facts. You recieved responses from people here that definately have a clue about how it works.

If you didnt realise that selling a domain with spoofed pr would make you look silly, then im not sure what to say. Many have gotten scammed buying similar sites so you can understand why there is harsh responses. Remember these people do this for a living.


Forget the pr, and sell the domain for what its worth as a domain.

Its not a bad name and will sell im sure.
