$83 Billion Annual Sex Industry In Japan???
They sell that much pussy and porn in Japan???? That's INSANE!!! I didn't know there was that much fucking on Earth!!! $83 Billion a year???? That's 'Ho' with a capital 'O'!
If it's $83 Billion in Japan, how much pussy are we selling here in the U.S.??? We have more people and more money and more whores. Just watch MTV and you'll see what we mean. This boggles the mind!!!! http://www.cnn.com/2005/WORLD/americ....ap/index.html Report: Japan sex industry ensnares Latin women Friday, April 29, 2005 Posted: 11:56 PM EDT (0356 GMT) LIMA, Peru (AP) -- At least 1,700 women from Latin America and the Caribbean are lured each year into sexual slavery in Japan's huge illicit sex industry, according to a new report. A team of researchers hired by the Organization of American States found that most of the women come from Colombia, Bolivia, Brazil, Mexico and Peru. The team of researchers -- led by Phillip Linderman, an expert on loan from the U.S. State Department -- presented the "Rapid Assessment Report" to an international seminar on human trafficking sponsored by Peru's Foreign Ministry on Friday. The OAS analysis was culled from interviews with presumed victims, Japanese immigration records and crime data. The 37-page report estimated tens of thousands of undocumented foreign women in Japan, mostly from other Asian countries, are exploited by crime organizations, like Yakuza, Japan's second-largest crime syndicate. Japan's National Police Agency estimates the sex trade industry there to be worth $83 billion a year Linderman said governments on both sides of the Pacific paid little attention to the problem until recently. The Colombian Embassy in Japan stood out, aggressively working to identify and assist the estimated 4,000 Colombians it believes are human trafficking victims. But Linderman said the figures in his report probably represent only a percentage of trafficking victims, particularly from other Latin American countries like Peru, which is just starting to tackle the issue. "The ties between Japan and Peru are larger for historical reasons, for migratory reasons, for all kinds of reasons, than they are between Colombia and Japan. And it's our position right now in the preliminary study that there are many more victims here," he told The Associated Press. He said a typical trafficking scenario is that of Irene Oblitas, a Peruvian who told her story last year to her country's media. She said that in 1998 she boarded a plane with three Japanese businessmen who had promised her a job in a plastics factory. When she arrived she was raped by all three men and sold to a Yakuza organized crime boss, who branded her across the chest with a 6-inch (15-centimeter) rose tattoo. He forced her to provide sexual services to up to 40 clients a day, she said. She escaped after eight months with the help of other Peruvian expatriates, according to the Protection Project at Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies in Washington. "The scenario of Oblitas' case unfortunately seems to be a typical one," Linderman said. Oblitas' case was not mentioned in the OAS report. Human rights organizations say she later fled to a neighboring South American country, fearing reprisals after she started receiving death threats. Japan came under mounting international pressure last year after it was downgraded in the U.S. State Department's annual Trafficking in Persons Report. It became the only industrialized, developed nation to be placed on a special "watch list" of countries on the verge of falling into the report's lowest category, the OAS study noted. In response "the government of Japan announced a new national plan to combat human trafficking in December 2004," the OAS report continued. Chieko Tatsumi, of the International Organized Crime Division in Japan's Foreign Ministry, came to Lima to attend the seminar and said her government launched an aggressive public ad campaign to raise awareness about human trafficking. "I think the Japanese people are paying more attention to these issues," she said. But she and other Japanese officials disagreed with the OAS report's assertion that sexual trafficking from Latin America and the Caribbean is a much larger problem than the initial figures indicate. The full study will not be complete until later this year. |

"Fans stuck by me all the way. I appeared in over 70 movies with sales topping 6 billion yen. I made 7 million yen a movie and never less than 5 million yen," Kobayashi tells Shukan Post.
7 Million Yen = 66,864 USD 5 Million Yen = 47,760 USD How much do American Girls get per film? ![]() ![]() ![]() One of the icons of Japanese adult cinema history is about to draw the curtains on a career of unprecedented success, according to Shukan Post (12/19-26). Hitomi Kobayashi made her start just as blue movies in Japan changed from being made on celluloid film to being captured on videotape. Astounding sales of her works in the formative years of the VHS era made her the ruler of the adult video world and led to her being dubbed as the "AV Queen." Though Kobayashi continued grinding out the goods well into the reign of DVD, her final movie before retiring will be released on Dec. 19, and she says she's going out with a bang. "It's been 18 years since I made my debut. It seems a weird time to retire after 18 years, but actually I'm giving up because I'm turning 40," Kobayashi tells Shukan Post. "I'm delighted to have led a career where I would be elevated to being called 'AV Queen,' as well as to have lasted in the business until I turned 40." Kobayashi's entrance to the scene arrived as her career would later progress, albeit in a slightly different manner - by coming to blows. Her initial problems arose from a simple deception. "I was actually tricked into it. Ever since I was a kid, I had wanted to become an actress. I went to acting school, was registered with a talent agency and had produced a photo collection and video. But I wasn't getting anywhere. Then, I got this offer to do a movie called 'Kinjirareta Kankei (Forbidden Relationship).' I was told there were nude and love scenes, but nothing steamier than any ordinary movie," Kobayashi says, adding that she was shocked to discover she'd actually been picked up for a stick flick. "I called my agent in and we had a discussion for four or five hours. I finally agreed to appear, but as long as the sex was only simulated. That's how my stance on never going all the way on film started. I was 21 at the time, not a virgin and not worried about doing love scenes. But I never expected to be in an adult movie. At the time, AV actresses were looked down on much more than they are now." Any uncertainties Kobayashi may have had about her career path were dispelled when the movie sold 50,000 copies and led to a flood of other offers to appear in similar productions. She agreed to many of the offers, but maintained her strict stance against having real sex on camera, arguing that being a porno actress didn't mean that she should have to discard her acting skills. "I lost my virginity at 18, which is probably a bit late, and I wasn't very experienced with men. Then, suddenly, I was working in front of all these people. It was really tough. I used to get the directors to tickle my feet and then tried not to laugh so it looked as though I was climaxing," she says. Kobayashi says the worst part of her career was caused by piracy, with bootleg copies of one of her works putting her career in jeopardy because it revealed that all her scenes were only simulated sex. "Everybody knew then that Kobayashi wasn't doing it for real," she says. "And I'd tried so many different tricks, like grinding my hips, to make it look as though I really was having sex!" Kobayashi says cast members occasionally turned her on and nearly let herself go, but managed to hold on throughout her 18 years performing in front of the camera. Fears that she would lose her credibility when viewers discovered she was only acting proved groundless. "Fans stuck by me all the way. I appeared in over 70 movies with sales topping 6 billion yen. I made 7 million yen a movie and never less than 5 million yen," Kobayashi tells Shukan Post. Kobayashi lost much of her money through failed business projects she took on with her husband, who she married at the height of her career in 1987. They opened a nightclub in the Roppongi entertainment district in 2001. One of the most lasting impressions of her career, the star says, was appearing in an orgy movie filmed in London. "I'm only 150 centimeters tall and they paired me with this foreign guy well over 180 centimeters tall. His body was different, too, so I had real trouble figuring out how to do our scenes," Kobayashi says. "Of course, his thingee was much bigger than a Japanese guy's. I started giggling when I saw it. Thank God I was an actress who only did simulated sex." Having put her clothes back on for good now, Kobayashi will run the hostess club she opened and is still interested in regular acting roles if they come up. She'll also be able to pursue her interest in sex, but privately. "I love sex. But, just because I'm an AV actress, it doesn't mean I'm brim-filled with experience. I've done orgy movies, and lesbian scenes and loads of abnormal stuff, but the world of videos isn't a real world. My normal life is really plain. I couldn't imagine having sex anywhere other than in bed and taking part in an orgy would be unthinkable," Kobayashi tells Shukan Post. "I'm happy enough with just the missionary position." http://mdn.mainichi.co.jp/waiwai/031...legopener.html

Just think how much money the global sex industry is generating. It's gone past the mind boggling stage into planetary wide establishment. This planet is headed for a good time or certain doom. |
