In the past two weeks as many frats have asked me to pledge as well as in my previous semesters i've had other serious offers for me to pledge to a frat. Why does anyone pledge to a frat... ever? I understand its a cool networking/poon opp. but if you already excel in that area does it really matter? I have done all I could to not laugh in the face of those who ask me to pledge when I have no interst in anything other than the parties. Can anyone convince me either way or provide some kind of story and context where this would be advantagous?
