on my calibrated sony monitor "after" is unnaturally warm (slightly)
"before" looks very neutral. (good)

Agreed, though I haven't calibrated in two weeks so it's probably off a touch here.

i like the before better second one too warm but i prefer more blue than orange thats my eye

first pic isnt far off enough to need that much ... try unsharp mask, face is a little blurry. maybe add a *pinch* of red to the original. it looks like an auto contrast was done on it - way too heavy for me.
