Anything up with joebucks?

ARS dropped the ultraherbal links because they weren't getting paid. ultraherbal's affiliate link goes to joebucks.. So what's up with that? Just want to know if I should bother signing up at joebucks or not.

Joebucks seem like a pretty stand up company. Kbizzle works for them so he can probably give more insight into that incident.

KB ignores threads he doesn't like or can't answer. JoeBucks and the people over there are good people though.

I believe I heard that KB was out with some friends tonight. I would be surprised if ARS pulled them because they were not getting paid.

I am about to head out as we speak actually Bad Dog but caught this thread-
I have no knowledge of anything regarding ARS- and the owners of Joebucks are at Ad Tech in SF-

I know they mentioned to me that ARS is an affiliate before I even worked there- but it's not my account and therefore I don't have first hand knowledge.

I can assure you that Joebucks pays every affiliate and it's not in their best interest to stiff anyone. I will pass this post along to the owners of Joebucks and hopefully they can address this serious accusation. I'd bet my next paycheck that they don't owe them any money, they are A-OK with everyone I know that is an affiliate.

"All Ultra Herbal products are being removed from our portfolio. This is due to non payment from ultraherbal.com. Please remove all links from your sites. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause."

That's the email ARS sent out. Seems pretty clear that ARS wasn't being paid.

Unless its a forged email , sounds pretty clear to me.

Guess i would want to hear the full story about this one ( i.e. why they weren't paid )

That is pretty heavy, I wouldn't think smiting a company the size of ARS makes much sense. I would love to hear some details.

To address this situation and put the rumors to rest....
There was a problem from what I am told with the invoicing with ARS' account - they were paid last week 8 mos worth of payments last week. It was brought to the attention of the owner of Joebucks only recently that they weren't receiving their checks and I believe the problem wasn't so much on our end at Joebucks as it was on the end of ARS.

They aren't my account, and therefore I had no knowledge of the problem at hand. Joebucks.com is up and running and we like to take care of our affiliates at all costs.

I hope this clears up any misinformation at this time-

Okay, you know I am an avid promoter of JoeBucks - but how exactly can it be a problem on the affiliates end to not get paid for 8 months?

I might go 3 months without paying my electric bill, but I have yet to find a way to put it on them.

You're saying that ARS did not receive 8 months worth of payments until just last week? That seems rather odd if you ask me.

Not saying it doesn't sound odd- I spoke to Gary this morning and that was what I was told by him.

I know whatever the problem was it was corrected- I may be wrong on the 8 mos part- it may have been 8 weeks I had a bad cell connection with gary in SF. They are at Ad Tech and have a booth there if anyone is up there they can ask them in person what the problem was or we can wait to hear from Gary when he gets back. I just know the problem was handled.

To all ARS affiliates, Ultra herbal has cleared up their payments and we will continue to operate linking codes and payout through ARS. Note that ARS was paying out of pocket the entire year to continue to pay affiliates for Ultraherbals products, to maintian this campaign. Now that everything is cleared up ARS will continue to run this campaign. No payouts of traffic was affected.

Thank you

That's correct, strange that the invoices for 8 months and the shut off notice were sent to the same contact info and the only thing that was addressed was the shut off notice.

Either way it sounds like it's corrected now.
