Instead of ranting and raving like an ignorant unprofessional lunatic on the boards all you have to do is simply send in the offending e-mail (please include headers) and we will take it down.
alienq - :321GFY you have no clue Keep in mind guys when you have over 70K clients you will see some abuse its inevitable. Follow the correct reporting procedures and you will see much more effective results. [email protected] for future incidents please. Dean has now sent me the complaint it's legit the site is now down... see how easy that was? now :321GFY |

yea yea like your ignorance/mouth is doing for you? :321GFY |
the hosting companies are making super bank arranging and facilitating servers and hosting for bulk mail. if these dump webair, they'll be up at another host in 24hrs or less. bottom-line, the spoofs will be the downfall in combination with the u.s. connections.
|
Don't worry about me...
I am doin fine... I aint housin Spammers that the government is eradicating these days. It's your ass not mine. Go play dumb somewhere else. |

at least we're doing our part i dont give a shit where they go...Dean sent in legit complaints, I verified they gotta go. end of story... |
i dunno. i got a PG spam today.

from a webair perspective the important question to ask is how does webair keep their legit accounts immune from downtime due to blocking of ip ranges on the mailers?

Did you guys recently settle with M$? |
Dean,
Spamarrest works. Brad's right. Bye bye spam. 100% of the time. |
we settled with m$ in october and never spoofed anybody before that, during or after. we have plenty of experience in the mail sector to know the game obviously.
also we went almost 2 years on the defense because we would not turn over our customer list or rollover in even the slightest way. <-------Teflon. |
and btw using spam arrest is retarded. it is easy enough to train your own mail filters. spam arrest and other services are an impediment to ecommerce.
|
in our settlement agreement we negotiated the rights to do an international press release clearly using m$ in the subject and body. we will send it soon.
|
and then...
|
add stiffycash to the non-can-spam compliant and spoofing list.
all of you idiots taking this traffic will be out of biz soon :thumbsup |

so this thread is the reason why perfectgonzo is down? so all the legit webmasters who are promoting them via their sites got fucked because of your whiney spam hating ass? ok then, thanks a fucking lot.

Well - I have to commend Mikey for taking some action against PerfectGonzo. PerfectGonzo.com is not coming up....nor is AssTraffic.com - the link that was in the spam that I received. Mikey told me hat they would be disconnected immediately and that's exactly what has happened. He says that PG are migrating to another hosting co even as I'm typing this. Now that's what I call stepping up to the plate & taking care of fucking business :thumbsup
I only wish more companies had balls to do these kinds of things. It takes balls doesn't it? I mean....with these sponsor programs waving cash in your face and asking you to turn the other way while they spam the shit out of their programs.....it's gotta be a tough decision for some of these little mom-pop hosting companies. Good job Mikey :thumbsup |
what about all the honest webmasters you just fucked tho? its not our fault perfectgonzo was sending spam but now all my links go nowhere.
|
Quote:
Plus....don't thank me - thank your friends at PerfectGonzo. If they would have taken some action against the spammer when I forwarded the spam to them......you'd still be making some sales tonight :thumbsup |

I kinda agree, taking them down immediately sucks for those promoting them. At least give them a deadline... fucked up.

btw i will take the biz card webair gave me at ad-tech out of the garbage now in case we ever need more mirrors down the road. we are a mini-akamai :winkwink:

yeah i know its ultimately their own fault but still, now i got 100's of links going nowhere losing sales by the minute. it just blows. all that complaints are gonna do anyhow is push these companies offshore where you can't do anything. they were fucking idiots for letting anyone mail anything other than adult targeted optin lists tho.

can-spam compliance is not even an issue here because cowboys are not even caring and those that would maintain compliance are too easy a target.
on top of that issue is that the state laws are NOT gone due to can-spam and the state laws have trickyness regarding requirements that an individual request mail even though can-spam does not. |
I goto say...
Today was a damn good day. |
as pg and stiffycash jump from host to host their bandwidth will continue to decay btw...
|
when is odie going to flash us and say she is ready for your mailers ?
|
the solution is simple. consolidate your links to secure sponsors.
anytime you see a subtle "icq me i can take that traffic" from a sponsor rep just run the other way... |
Evan, when is Nicole Lenz site gonna launch? I met her in person a few years back when she first got into Playboy. I couldn't hardly even look at her she was so beautiful http://www.clicksmilies.com/s0105/li...smiley-011.gif
