                  the govnment bet you would die before age 65.
                  you bet you would live past 65 and get to collect.
                  now that they have to pay up they want out of the deal.
                  where do you think all that money went from those who did not collect or collected very little?

                              If the government would pay back all the money they "borrowed" from social security, there would be no problem at all.

                              Then again, if we would have taken the billions we have spent on Iraq and put it into SS, we could all probably retire at 45.
