I'm painting the downstairs bathroom in our house and its taking a long long time.
I first did 2 primer coats, just to make sure it was nice and clean.
Well the walls are textured due to wallpaper that left a lot of glue that sanding wouldn't get rid of.
I just got done painting the first coat of a berry color on the walls. The imperfections are screaming out...but it kind of looks like wood grain. I did it all with a brush.
I'm going to do one more coat and whatever it looks like, is how its going to stay. lol

Yeah, its worse than a marathon..... I painted my whole flat several months ago and I was fucking tired after whole day painting.

I don't mind painting..it's prepping the walls that kill me.
I did a stint as a wall paper hanger in my youth for a family friend and my tongue would always swell up when sanding the walls down...ugh.

yeah its tough work.
we're also going to paint our foyer and dining room.
i'm definitely going to get tony to help out on that one.

I read you all the way on this! I hate painting, and yet that´s what I always end up doing when my friends need help moving or prepping their new place....

I actually like painting. I redid my entire apartment last year. I guess painting meant I was near the end of the project.

Small world... I'm painting my master bedroom now. It's a 100% pain in the ass! I just did 1 coat and 2 coats in some spots. The next time I'll get someone to come in
