Domain sales have been on fire all year. And this is following a stellar 2004. As was mentioned elsewhere by DomBuyer, it's just not traffic/typein domains that are pulling in nice figures - but brandable names as well.

The market is hot. People are drawn in. You have a marketplace that is expanding with new buyers/sellers while prices are rising steadily. Since GFY is often the pulse of the electronic world, it makes sense we should see more threads about domains here.

why? because 99% of half decent domains are already taken, it takes some expierience and alot of luck to nab some of the ones you want,

most people would just rather pay the extra money to respresent their brand properly.

I just dont get it. I see the most ridiculous domains go for like 10k while the same name with just an s extra or - extra or whatever will cost you 9 bucks at godaddy. It pisses me off that i dont understand this. I see domains being sold i simply would not pick up even if they were free.

understand some of the auctions are complete bullshit with fake bidders so that when it is re listed some stupid webmasters actually think it had value.
