Why do paysite owners even worry about password sites? They should have the proper protection on their servers.

Yup, that's what I figured, but I guess some people don't take the time/money to get it all setup. Maybe they don't realize the risk..

Yep we're all up on there, Too bad for the jackasses trying to use this it just ends up getting turned off quickly by our security.

No problem Mack.. looks like this guy only gets like 4k hits daily to his site, so hopefully all the sites in here haven't experianced any problems.

Yea I do have to say I used to always be on those lists too! I got strongbox a little while back and my bandwidth went down and so did exploited passwords. I wish I would of know about it a long time ago. Melissa

I've looked into strongbox as an alternative to what we're currently using but I've heard that it has some issues in regards to the way most "leased feed providers" authenticate referrers from your members area.

Anyone have any info on this?

strongbox i would recommend to every paysite, if you could get everyone ti move from htaccess to form logging with image verify there would be no more password forums. but its getting everyone to make the migration, which i doubt everyone wants to do.

ray has a very solid program.

Strongbox isn't the only answer. Password Sentry with the Php Authentication Plugin is more advanced I think. Example http://www.polishmyhelmet.com/members

Password site traffic is traffic though, just as good as your skimmed TGP traffic IMO.
