Why are some paysites still doing this?

Having multiple pay options on their signup page, and not cascade billing program for their affiliates.
It cost more in lack of affiliates (which are "shaved") than you make on second try creditcards. I think.

(Yeah, some linking codes filter out the second pay option, but I still see some are not)

Happens all the time, its the main reason I cant find "real" amateur sites to send traffic too. They seem to be the worst, plus they have pages of outbound links in many cases

hosted flv's, hosted galleries, morphing rss feeds, free content, free sites, hosted blog

Yes. I also found some good sites that I'd happily promote, but don't because of that. Are they not aware of it? Affiliates just move on to another site.

I made a post the other day looking for "Real Amateur" single girl sites, the other day, all I got was very profesional looking models, which isnt want converts for me, or I got real amateur sites full of traffic leaks and upsells on the tour. Some with alternative billing methods on the join page too! Amazing

I would have thought any affiliate who makes any amount of sales know this. I only promote one site like this (Sahara Gets Dirty) Because I signed up and started before I noticed. Because the webmaster is an ok guy and I built a few galleries before I realized, I havnt removed the links yet. But its 100% a no no for me usually. I cant see why they dont just build themselves an alternative tour, they could have the best of both worlds then

Ironic. The sites in your sig have traffic leaks.
Do you also have upsells in your member areas?

Edit: AND you have an exit console. All that for a lousy 50% revshare on CCBill?

Agreed. I used to have a secondary procesor and made a FUCK of a lot of money on them (as much as a 20% boost in sales) until they went out of business. I always used a cookie for affiliates though, and blocked the secondary processor in that case, no sense telling affiliates to go fuck themselves.

What you don't see though is a lot of sites use ccbill's decline feature to push the secondary only on declines. Unless you actually sign up AND get declined you would never know. I think a lot of people overlook that one though as it was a lost sale anyway...

What traffic leaks dude? All out bound links, the webmaster gets the sale from, its the same ref code. The exit consol the webmnaster gets the sale from. Though you can have a non exit link if you want. If you can clear up what your acusing me off, I can get it fixed, as I must have missed something
