Looks like somebody from registrator support team wants to take my domain - Need Help
This is difficult to control every person in big companies so the support personal may use their positions for own deals.
The history: 1. On 2005-04-26 I have registered the domain name 2. This was successfully purchased and registered on my name and website was activated and visible over the internet 3. 4 days later Ihahaha8217;ve receive the notification that my CC was rejected, but no information how can I correct the possible mistake. Now I have write the 3-letters to somebody from domain-billing@ with only one question how can I realize payment for this domain, but the FACT I am paying with credit card with SAME NAME you can see in WHOIS of this domain is not enough because the BIRTHDAY of my email account, I have registered I think in 1999, is not correct. The thing is I am using the gator to fill web forms so mistake with CC was impossible. The plastic is also OK cause in that month Ihahaha8217;ve done 2 more successful transactions with the same card hahaha8211; a week before and a two days later. The domain is not adult but very good, maybe too good ... Is anybody have the same experience with such situation? Should I try to apply the complain to ICANN? |

It could be that your credit card company rejecting the payment. They do that all time time with internet and large transactions. Annoying but its for your safety.

Raulph, with all my respect ... have you read my topic telling here about large amounts? ..
$4.59 Pretty large ahhh? :-) For a 3 years my bank never reject any transaction if I did't ask it to. The registrar is reliable, but the names I will tell later... I just want to find out how can I contact the chief, cause all my emails blocked on low level. How can I complain to ICANN for accredited registrar |

I think your language is hampering you..
The registrar may have denied your credit card for any number of reasons. I highly doubt it has anything to do with stealing your domain, infact i bet if you worked out the problem with them by telephone you could get it all worked out.. The registrar will likely ask you to make good on the payment by filling in the CC form again. If you dont comply they will hold the domain for about 45 days then it will be available again

Call ?... actually I was trying to do this but didn't reach them.
I don't see the domain in control panel any more and can't find how can I pay for it -- that's a point. And this thing about hampering - you are absolutely right........... Why didn't they ask for my ID or CC scan? Once I did it for a large payment so the first thing to verify the person is ID but not a date of birthday he put (maybe) into the form of FREE MAIL service 6 years ago with his nickname! The emails from registrar: The domain name you purchased is: ***.com Please note that your domain is pending. Pending means that your domain is not yet active across the Internet. The pending state occurs for all newly registered domains. A new domain takes 12 to 48 hours to propagate across the Internet depending on the extension you have chosen. A domain with a .us, .biz, or .info extension will be active first, while .com and .net domains take longer. Next day: Congratulations! Your domain *****.com is now active. Visitors who go to your web address (www.*****.com) will now see the Under Construction page that we have set up for you, unless you have already logged in and created a starter web page or set up your domain to forward to another web site. Emails to your email forwarding address will also now be received if you have set it up. If you've not already logged in and completed these set up activities, now is a good time to do so. To learn more, see the instructions below. Isn't this mean the operation was successfully finished? |
