Put FREE as a NEGATIVE keyword. You'll be surprised how much that helps. Also use PHRASE MATCH instead of BROAD MATCH.

Don't try to go to Google and ask them to work with you on the balance. They will just send you a canned email quoting their TOS.

Thats an awesome suggestion, do you know how to do that? Im clicking around and cant find how to exclude searches that have the word Free in them.

Add -free as a keyword to your campaigns.

Just put a minus sign before any word you wish to exclude.

No it hasn't worked out at all. To be fair I only tried one site the past couple of weekends. I am going to give them one last shot with my best converting sites.

I'm not surprised, I never did well with them and their CPC are rather low by comparison to the big boys. Thanks for letting me know though...
