There are many link-sites/TGPs out there that demand a banner of their choice on their page. I could never do this 'cause that seems to loose total sight over who's helping who. Sure, I have a lot of traffic, and 'cause of the many submissions I get I can be pretty picky about what I list, but I list other people's galleries. Now should I also demand a banner on their site? How is that right? It would also create an obligation to list people. I would feel bad demanding banners and such and then not listing those people 'cause I didn't like the gallery... I make my living from the ads on my page, once a visitor leaves my page to go on a gallery I want to make sure that page is clean and honest, but I don't think it would be right to demand making money there myself as well (after all, it's not even my work/creation or bandwidth)...

Anyway, that was not what this topic was about, that was more an explanation for indoctrinating (and so ends our lesson in English for today ;-)

Many people know I'm a programmer, so I think it was a great challenge creating this dialer program that wouldn't try to charge an arm and a leg to consumers. After all, ANY product sold on ANY market needs customers. And you either have to hide your prices and screw people over once, or you have to let 'em know your product is worth the price and be open and honest about it to make 'em come back every now and then. And if people use Fairtale every now and then I think that in the end more income will be generated then taking people's money once... Sure, webmasters have to make money, but if webmasters make money and the consumer doesn't feel ripped off, you might make less money per minute, but in the end you'll do WAY more minutes. One example: ANY paysite will confirm that they make most their money from recurring members. That's returning money at hardly any marketing expenses.

The Dutch link on my site is a test, more tests will follow and more countries will follow. I'll keep you updated (and this concludes our lesson in spam for today ;-)

In classical logic, contradiction as a result of new perspective doesn't negate the validity of the original premise.

Someone can change their mind without being hypocritical. If he continued to push advertisement that there were zero dialers linked on his page yet it was there, I'd say you'd have a legitimate gripe, but the plainly phrased link at the top isn't a big deal. If he was knowingly linking to automatic or forced downloading dialer programs, I'd say you'd have an even greater gripe, because that may severely impact your returns.

Either way, I still jerk off the the galleries listed on the Hun. ;)
