    Why Has ICQ Been So Fucked Up Recently ?

    Why Has ICQ been so fucked up recently ? Everyone seems to be having problems with it but why? I registered a new icq and that let's me on fine but my old # with all my contacts logs me on and then immediatley off.
    Icq tech help never responds. Please let me know if you have any suggestions.

          I'm not sure, but I had to uninstall it in order to install the new version 5.0 and watch my firewall.

              i have rarely had troubles with icq, but everyone that uses the actual icq client has troubles non-stop

              using trillian is the best thing you can do for sure...trillian users rarely have problems

                          Be very careful with Trillian. . . . these Trillian users don't realize that when they request authorization from an ICQ user, the odds are that we will not see the request.

                                                      its a back end server problem not a client problem.

                                                      when my icq is fucked up even the web based does not work.

                                                      if it was a client problem then web based should work even if client is fucked up.

                                                      up untill a few weeks ago i never had an icq problem.
