lol he couldnt see shit almost ran into his friend you could see him waving his arms around, ( they must have been yelling for him to run away ) , because as he is running into the pole/wall the cops are coming back and the chubby friend looks like he is trying to calm the cops down to buy his friend time to run away

I'm not sure guns would have made much of a difference in that situation. Once you're grappling like that, it's hard to pull your gun and shoot the person you're grappling with, especially since it was 2-on-1 for both cops. The cop had some pepper spray, and once he was able to get away and pull that out, it diffused the situation.

I think the biggest problem is that the cops were outnumbered by drunk hooligans, they needed more cops there to deal with the situation. I wonder if they called for backup?

I love how people hate the cops yet are always willing to run to them. Sure there are some bad cops most cops have wives and children and are trying to protect and serve.

They really need guns in Briton. Same for New Zealand. Australian cops all carry guns and not to many people fuck with Aussie cops. And we are not like USA where any idiot can get a gun so it works great.

I dont know why everyone keeps saying they should have guns. If the cops had shot anyone , everyone would be crying about police brutality..

Nobody deserved to get shot in that scenario. (IMO).

If those cops DID have guns , the only 2 things that might have happened that didn't is A) one of the cops would have shot one of the drunk idiots or B) one of the drunk guys would have grabbed the gun out of the cops belt and shot one of the cops..

All because they had too much too drink.. Not worth it .

My brother is a cop here in the UK. He has a kid, with another one on the way. When i see incidents like that, makes me think how dangerous his job can be at times...
