How much content do you need for a $9.95 a month pay site?

Im budgeting here, I ve got 20 niche downloadable clips and like 10 niche feeds and a shitload of niche pictures. charging $9.95 a month.

I really care about recurring, i just want like 2,000 members all rebilling at 9.95 a month, id be so fucking happy with that.

so is that enough INITIAL content to start with or is that light?

I'll buy more at time goes by, but for right now Im spending like $2-3k in content alone?

I dont want to spend all this money and have everybody sign up, and then cancel their rebill 4 minutes later. I want customers to stay

I think that's a good start. Adding other content might be bonus like games, interactive feeds, jokes.... trade links with other niche paysites in your members area if you're already not.

Also not to care about rebills IMO is a foolish move, but then again.. what do i know?

good luck with your site.

have at least 1 new scene per day even if its shared but don't get whored out scenes, maybe just scenes sold once or twice then ask how much so they don't sell it again or whatever.

That sounds like a good plan. Like someone said, don't use overused video. Microsites are the wave of the future.

First of all don't bother with plugin feeds. They are over sold for the most part and won't retain. The key is to do updates 2 or more times a week. I have over 3,000 dvd's for license. We have some very affordable deals for newbie webmasters that will help you reach your goal.
