If your buying domain names just to pick up SE traffic what would be the best way to have them hosted ?

Probably 5 or 6 domains with mainly text so probably only need very small storage space.

You might want to open one account with a hosting company and have all of your domains in their DNS, pointed to the same hosting space.

That's exactly what I'm hoping for but didn't know if it was possible, is there any special name given to that type of hosting ?

If I could get that as well as using the same space it would be the icing on the cake

I'm just wondering how other people manage to do it and generate enough traffic to pay the hosting bills.

BV thanks for the links I'm going to have a read into them BUT if it's the same thing as url forwarding the search engines list the page your domain is pointing to instead of listing your own domain name, that's a bit of a pisser if you change hosts you lose all your SE traffic and your bookmarks.

Dopy will check that host out but this one looks pretty good http://www.elevatedhosting.com/ and I think you can add domains to the same account

rhizome just checking out prohosters and they look very good, as far as I can see they do everything I want plus subdomains

i have many small traffic domains listed on prohosters, basically you can have up to 100 with unique IPs over there for $15 a month if you go with their prepaid plan.

It only works if you don't have alot of traffic though, otherwise the overages will kick your butt.
