FireFox 1.0.1

Is it worth upgrading to the newer ones?

I'm still using IE.

After some recent virus problems I started using Firefox. Firefox is slow to download pages, is a bigger program than IE, and fucking crashes my computer once a day. Firefox also has problems displaying graphics on pages that I've created. And the download manager is as stupid as can get.

I tend to use Firefox when surfing pages I'm not familar with, but I spend most of my time working on Lightspeed pages so I tend to use IE.

Once Firefox becomes more popular and becomes the standard and people start writing crap to infect it..... It will loose it's only reason to exist.

but it was to slow, and I swiched to mozilla.

netscape is due to release v8.0 anytime soon and it was designed with similar feature as Firefox. i do hope they wont disappoint me this time. for the meantime, id stick with FF.

Only ever ran MacOS, Linux, or FreeBSD on a desktop, so I've always used the latest Netscape/Mozilla/Firebird/Firefox.
