What Long Distance Carrier Do You Have ?

I used to have Z-Tel as my local and long distance phone carrier, but I recently moved and they REALLY fucked up. It took them OVER A MONTH and they NEVER moved my phone service over, so I ended up leaving them, going back to my old provider, Ameritech.

Well, now I've got free pickings of getting a new long distance carrier. I don't make a hell of a lot of long distance calls, they're mainly all in-state, so I don't need no big plans.

I also don't wanna dish out $5 per month just to have the long distance plan either, that's lame. I could live with a couple of bucks if it's a good carrier.

I know that someone is thinking about just buying long distance cards, but those are too lame, sure they're cheap, but I'd rather just be able to pick up the phone and call without fucking with them.

Let me know what y'all think. Thanks !!!

Yeah, I have a great setup on my cell phone right now for only $18, I get 300 minutes, PLUS FREE nights and weekends and 5000 bonus minutes to use in the year and 10 cent long distance, so it's a pretty good plan.

I have a good buddy that works down there he sets me up pretty nicely with my plan and all kinds of free accessories.

I do like my cell phone, but I still gotta have my home phone kicking. I did a lot of research around the net and ended up going with Opex - http://cognigen.net/opex/main.cgi? Great plans, only 4.4 cents per minute in-state and 4.9 for interstate with 6 second increments and an 18 second minimum. They charge $2 per month if you spend less than $20, otherwise it's free.

          Talk about a great plan.
