On Doomed's behalf, this offer is perfectly legit and I'm sure there are fellow GFYers who have more credit than my 100+ or whatever posts that have done similar offers from the same company, Gratis, be it for an iPod, iPod 20GB a Mac mini etc.
To simply put it, Gratis makes profit from folks who help out friends for instance, or do a few referals and give up. They sign up to these online services such as netflix or freebidding.com and make out on comission for these. Netflix and freebidding.com make their profit on folks who do not cancel their accounts with rebills, pretty simple method which I'm sure anyone in this industry is familiar with personally.
Anywhom, I got a 20GB iPod from them and use it until this very day. It wasn't refurbished, used or anything. It took like two months, but it got here eventually. It's tough to say "your loss" I guess until you actually receive an item from Gratis and see it's completely legit. I'd encourage those who are willing to flame before trying it to speak to anyone who's done Gratis offers before making false accusations, that's all.
