i have herpes, but the only time i experienced something bad from that was a few years ago i got a couple blisters but the doctor gave me valtrex.. however, i've had clamydia 5 times now that shit makes my dick itchy tingly -- the doc will give you doxycycline u gotta take 2 pills for 7 days and cant drink milk it sucks

What's the percentage of risk of getting things like warts even when you're wearing a condom?

If you're dating somebody and you have let's say warts and you tell them, what happens? Do you just wear a condom with that person for the rest of your sex life? Assume you get married, what happens then? Would be a pretty crumby sex life.

Same as if you wore no condom. Warts are not only on genital mucus membranes. They also form on your waist, legs, anus, etc etc. Even in the back of your throat if you do oral or touch her pussy then touch your own mouth later on. Warts in your throat can actually kill you. The airway could break out with warts overnight and you'd wake up unable to breathe, caught, then burst them and die from blood drowning or constricted airways from swelling.

I'll explain other reasons why condoms are not all that great at protecting you from diseases, and maybe a lot of you people will realize the truth behind the fact that wearing condoms won't protect you from the consequences of a promiscuous lifestyle.

The female vagina has a much larger area than just the little hole you plow into. There's the lips, hood and clitoris. All of which are a mucus membranes. When she is lubricating (i.e. wet) the viruses she may have are in that fluid. It touches your balls, pubic hair, your pubic bone rump etc etc. Some can even seep and leak towards your anus. Instant infection in that case. As for the stuff getting on your hair and balls, it can seep into your skin if the concentration of fluid is high enough. Also, the very base of your dick is not covered by a condom. When you go to roll it off you push that fluid at the base of your dick with your hands up onto your knob which is an absorbing membrane.

I know this was all graphic sounding and pseudo-gay but the fact remains. Condoms do NOT protect you 100%. You're lucky to get 25% protection. People contract HIV every day even with wearing a condom.

Now don't go out and stop using condoms altogether, with no condom you have 0% protection. Choosing trusting partners, not fucking every whore you see and practicing common sense will save your ass more than a condom.

Condom manufacturers and educators don't tell you that the risks are still really high to contract a disease even with a condom because they don't want you not using them at all.

i'm glad someone pointed out the projected high percentage for genital warts - what concerns me more about this than say chlamydia, gonorrhea, bacterial vaginosis, etc. is that it's a virus and therefore permanent. if you catch the others quickly they are treatable and don't leave any of the bacteria in your system, whereas the Human Papilloma Virus (genital warts) stays in your system permanently. combine that with the supposed 80% of the population having it and a large % of them not knowing it - won't everyone have it eventually? it can cause cervical and uternine cancer in women.

You know there is more hype than truth about STDs. They are no different than any other disease or illness. what makes them a big deal is the method in which they are contracted.

The big ones are of course HIV/AIDs, Herpies and Hep.
But as for things like Gohnorea, Clymadia, etc. These are simple bacteria infections...

You can get herpes on your anus, the base of your penis, or your ball sack...

YOu can even get herpes on your eyes, around your fingernails, around the toe nails, inside your nose.. anywhere that there is moisture..

100% of the population has herpes already, it is a virus that lives in the spine, chicken pox is a form of herpes.. Cold sores are a form of herpes.. here are a few common possible ways you can get herpes..

1. You kiss a girl with a cold sore. You go down on her, then stick your dick in her.. You run the risk of contracting the virus orally and on your genitals.
2. A girl with a cold sore on her mouth gives you oral sex.. high risk
3. You have a cold sore, you kiss the girl then she gives you oral sex..

Mike.. the chances of a newborn contracting the herpes virus during pregnancy is high.. They worry about it if the female is having an actual outbreak near the time of pregnancy with the baby passing through the vagina.. If she has an outbreak from the stress of the pregnancy they will usually deliver the baby via c-section.. Babies born in an outbreak can get herpes all over their bodies and can kill them.. So it's important that they be aware of the risks..

the only way to be completely safe is to always use a condom and dont mack anyones box or kiss anyone that you have sex with. even with condoms there are some stds that you can catch. cold sores are not herpes. since i was 3 years old i have been getting cold sores. i freaked out when i was in the military and went to get tested for everything. the doctor laughed at me because of my "fever blisters". cold sores are common amongst more than half of the population. there are over 100 stds that you can't even test for. (thanks the military for all this info), when you go overseas they make you take all sorts of disease classes. stds are scary.

Last question - say somebody has herpes or any of the other things mentioned in this thread, but it's not noticeable and they don't have an outbreak. Will all the health tests at the doctor's office catch it anyway so that you know if somebody has something even if it's not showing? I've always assumed it will because they take body fluids and it can't 'hide' in that.
