I'm seriously asking, not debating. Is the traffic better?

I mean if you have 200k of bookmarked traffic and 200k of circle jerk traffic, is there a difference in how much $$ you make?

why is a site with 200k bookmarkers worth more than a site that generated 200k of cj traffic?

I started a new tgp that I'm keeping totally clean...am I wasting my time by not circle jerking it?

A 100k tradesite can change hands for as little as $3k to 4k. A 100k bookmarker tgp, with no link exchanges... well...

I would take a guess and say boomark traffic is more permanent, not likely to be gone when you buy the site.

If it's new and your looking to get both traffic high and bookmarkers I'd set a high trading ratio to start and gradually start to lower it as traffic gets big - thet way you're gonna start getting more bookmarkers.
Unless you got a source for sending a lot of traffic in you're gonna need trades in the beginning.

200K of bookmark traffic? That would be awesome...you wouldn't want to CJ that traffic...you already have plenty of traffic at that level. Intelligent link trades with other high-traffic sites that send surfers that WANT to be at your site is what you want. The problem with CJ traffic is that most of the surfers sent to your site got there through a blind link and automatically leave. It inflates your counter but doesn't fill your wallet.

Basically, build your traffic up to where you can trade links with sites like Thumbzilla and Snakes World and get listed on their main pages. This traffic will convert for you.

Yes use the CJ site to feed your clean / bookmark site.
Visitors from CJ sites will bookmark just about anything that have anything that could even look like content. They don't know where to look that is why they end up on CJ sites

What you need to remember...is that while the big tgps may have a lot of bookmarkers...they also have a lot of type ins and high SE placement because they've been around a while and every one links to them. Do you think The Hun has 1,000,000 bookmarkers that visit daily? Hell no...he gets a ton of SE traffic and word of mouth referrals...as well as every one under the sun linking to him. He's an exception though, in that he doesn't do link trades...so all the links that point to him are one-way....he keeps all that traffic.

Bookmarked traffic in general does suck as far as generating signups...
But if your trying to build a traffic base
and you can feed it...you will build a large bookmark base...Then you can slowly add
some link trades ...
All my sites do about 40-50% bookmarks..which Is where I like to keep it..
Keeps a steady traffic base...as well as bring in new surfers...
