Hotels (motels) in New York

Hi

Me and my girlfriend are going to New Yrok in a couple of weeks.
Can anyone suggest a good hotel to stay in for a few (4) nights??

Could I also have some ruff prices too. Dont mind spending $200 to $300 a night if its a good suit.

thanks
tony

G'day,

eg;
Deluxe King

room_rate:
US$259.00 (05/06/05 - 05/07/05)
US$199.00 (05/08/05)
US$239.00 (05/09/05)

taxes: US$144.26
grandtotal: US$1,100.26

...

The New York Helmsley is conveniently located on east 42nd street, between 2nd and 3rd Avenues, two blocks from either Grand Central Station or the United Nations and just five blocks from 5th Avenue Shopping, Times Square, the Theater district and the Empire State Building.

To name one for the picking.. newyorkhelmsley[.]com

Have a great day.
Mark

I always stay @ teh Wellington, near teh park & times SQ. its liek $110. Not a great place, but sufficent for a hotel room, that you only gonna sleep & fuck in. save some $$$ spend your $ on a nice dinner.

The W Times Square is what you want.

The Hudson is a close second and at least $50 cheaper.

My personal old favorite is The Parker Meridian. Ask for a Junior Suite upgrade at the desk.

I've got to tell you, for a decent hotel you will need to look at spending at least $225 per night. The Hudson and those type hotels will easily exceed that.

Not trying to be a doomsayer here, but I go there quite a bit

I live out here, if I was from out of town I would go with the W hotel.
Its a good location, the hotel is amazing, & you are in Times Square.
