Anyone running a true online, NON high-risk, real time processing that accepts credit cards should be able to accept ePassporte's Virtual Visa just like they would any other Visa. Companies that batch transactions or run them manually after accepting them online will not be able to process the Virtual Visa and would need a business eP account in order to accept it for payment.
For instance -- Southwest Airlines runs a complete online setup, you can use the Virtual Visa to buy a ticket from them. America West, on the other hand, runs a batch system, and will deny the VV every time. Southwest also has swipe terminals on every one of their ticket agent computers I've ever seen, so they can process the Electron card. America West, in some locations, manually types in the card number, so the Electron card fails when they try to process it.Comment
