Back in '94 I had a program... be damned if I can remember the name of it now... (something with a "V") but I could make some killer 3D landscapes... whole worlds... and render bad ass animated fly-overs and shit... any path... any features... lakes, trees, midgets... it seriously kicked ass... back in the Windows 3.1 and DOS days... it output in the old formats... what the hell were they? FLA or FLI or something like that... it was cool... but, of course, I only saw the coolness and not the usefulness of it at the time... but it took the system like, all night to render a flyover. The results were worth it though.
