Except for a period of time that I quit the business, I have been in this business for more than 3 years. I just started again a couple of months ago.

During the 3 years in the business I developed zero tolerance for dishonorable Webmasters.

I did not want to keep this private, as he not only did not abide by my rules, but failed to respond to my E-mails.

It is not the number of hits he may or may not have received from his listing it is the principle of the thing.

Thanks for the advice but I do not need you to tell me what I should keep private.

As a Webmaster I am entilted to have my rules. My rules require a reciprocal link. Spacedog made the decision to list his site and not abide by my rules. The amount of traffic involved has nothing to do with my rules. Don't like the rules, don't list your site.

I began anew in this business with a different paid host than I had before. My site may very well have been down, as I have found it to be down, all to frequently recently. I notified my host and they informed me that the problem had been corrected, but maybe not.

The fact still remains that you never had a reciprocal link and you can protest all you like. I am finished with this thread.

I thought I was finished with this thread but I cannot allow Spacedog to misinform.

As you can see from my original post. I E-mailed Spacedog two times not three times.

My original E-mail informed Spacedog that he had listed his site in an inapproiate category and that I had modified his listing. It also reminded him that I require a reciprocal and I would allow him 24 hours to get my link up.

My second E-mail was a courtesy, as I know that we Webmasters are busy people so I was allowing an additional 24 hours.

If you read the E-mails you will see that at no time does it state I would delete his site.

In addition at 10:20 AM it will have been 72 hours and not 4 days.

Also he stated he took my link down after receiving my E-mail. He then states he took my link down because my site was down.

The fact is he did not abide by my rules and put up a reciprocal link, further more he did not have the courtesy to reply to my E-mails, and in addition, he is making mis-statements on this board.

reciprocal, then put up the link.

If you changed your mind and do not want to do business with this person. Then answer there email.

Seems alot of people have no ideal what Common courtesy is now days.

You were not to busy to request the link, but you are to busy to tell the person no thanks I've changed my mind.

Of course Spacedog has been too busy since Jan 2 to put up your recip. He has things to do. He has his day job, oh wait, he hasn't been to work since sometime in December.
But he's been busy designing his site. It must have taken him an awfully long time to copy that template and then add his text. Oh wait, he did that before Jan 2, but he's changed the color since then and that had to have taken some time.
He's been busy adding more resources to his great resource site. Why, he must have at least 5 on each page. Don't you think that takes time?
But, I think it's good that you looked for him here, since the thing he's been the busiest with is posting on this fucking board. Take a look at the amount of posts from him since Jan 2 and you'll see that he couldn't possibly have the time to add a recip button. I sure hope he has time to add the button of a site that wants to be included in his site, and I'm sure he'll be just as understanding when people don't add his recip because they were "FUCKING BUSY!!"

Bottom line, spacedog took the time to submit his site on your board after seen your signature. Except you and 2 of your friends he's also the only one of the 20 members ever posted a message in your board. And what you do? You take the time to email him for a recip which for sure forgot or something and you open a topic here. You just killed your 1 and only submitter. Nice move

Of the 29 members I know four. These four are Webmasters.

I was originally using a mail form for site submissions, and then posting those sites, that I approved, myself.

I decided that this could be to time consumming so I now allow Webmasters to list their own sites.

So the 52 sites listed under Webmaster listings about 90% were submitted by Webmasters unknown to me but listed by me. There is only one listing since I quit using the mail form.

There are not many posts yet, but several are from members, unknown to me.

I hope the site grows over time, maybe it will, maybe it won't. It is a shot in the dark.

Spacedog is dishonorable, via his own E-mail a proven liar (also he said his E-mail has been down since 2 Jan and yet at one point on this thread he claimed to have received 3 E-mails from me), and dangerous, as I am satisfied that the attachment on his E-mail was probably a virus.
