I'd say Phatservers.
We have been looking for a host for a few months and this one was the best we could find. They are fast, both in setting up your account, ansering email/icq and helpfull at all times. Uptime 100% so far. Reasonable prices and you can customize your package into your liking! What else do you need? I use three different paid hosts. A sort of 'don't put your eggs in one basket' mindset.
I use: Webair: My home domain has been with them for over a year. They are a good solid host with very little down time. I think I can remember one or two times in the year and they corrected it in a short time period. They have also always been helpful. For example, their billing cycle changed a few months ago and my checks hadnt yet arrived for that month. They were very kind in allowing me to wait to pay until the money was in my account, Prohosters: I use them for my free and avs sites. Such a good service. Low prices and features like unlimited domain hosting. Customer service has always been good and they can be reached by phone or irc. IRC is important when you live overseas. They had some trouble with their recent move but they kept us informed. Quikhost - The best choice I have found for my TGP work. My g/f also has some stuff at Prohosters (who are fine...fast support..but have had some downtime lately but it seems fixed now) and Blueweb...a provider out of Europe. |

Seems like everyone was waiting for someone else to try them........LOL Damnit, I need Cheap but stable, I dont want raped on this. oh and btw PeepNTom, My sites are still down all of them, but hey they sent new ftp info, and it lets me upload. uploading through an ip number now. ohh, and they said all my files got corrupted in the transfer, so I need to reload everything.....how sweet of them ........xoxo

yes, I have emailed them about 100 times today, I am so Pissed I could kill them. It isnt even the money loss at this point, it is the fact I lost all my spots on the toplists, which I am usually placed high. and I just submitted a gallery to sublime and they just put it up. DAMNIT!

Yep, last host that did that to me was just about the same time that Richard posted one of my sites...I was up all goddam night moving shit to a backup server and fixing the DNS.

since the plug was pulled by the datacenter  what a bunch of unluckywebmasters (including me) I saw a good virtual price you may check: Data Hosters 60GB transfer 150MB disk space $75 monthly $25 500 extra MB storage not bad at all for virtual |

There are some good hosts out there, you just have to turn over a few rocks is all. What sucks is no matter what, unless you move the datacenter into your basement, your entire business is still at someone elses mercy

I have had 3 or 4 hosts since I went dedicated.
Energyhosting.net has been the only enjoyable experience, I only do 500 gigs or so, but its been great from the point of getting stuff fixed quick if there is a prob. rk posts here and he installs pretty much everything for me if I ask him nicely on icq, he even rescued my illadvised cold reboot.
