If the movie has a water mark and I want to change it to a new water mark however I do not want to cut down the movies size. Is this type of editing possible?
Is it possible on a movie file to remove the water mark?

moneybiz: since you probably don't have the original, you're going to have a tough time outputting something that (a) looks decent and (b) is the same filesize. If you re-encode already compressed video data then you'll lose quality and make it less compressible.Comment

It's sad someone can't give a simple answer without blasting the person.... Just get the original source video, if you must, re-edit the original source then re-watermark it. It might be a pain in the ass and might not be the same as the one you have now, but it will be the easiest way. The only way I can think of since I do tons of editing, is blurring out the logo/watermark but it will degrade the quality of the video. Just buck up and re-do the vid with correct watermark. If you do not have the original source----you should since it is yours as you said, then tip for future---save a clean copy of all vid b4 you render.Comment

The reason why no one is willing to give a simple answer is because the only reason someone would want to remove the watermark from a movie is so that they can use someone else's movie.

I find so amusing people get so pissed at the idea of someone using their stuff but no body thinks to use popular songs in their clips. Im not saying you do this Roc. It just came to me while reading your post.Originally posted by RocHardThe reason why no one is willing to give a simple answer is because the only reason someone would want to remove the watermark from a movie is so that they can use someone else's movie.

I know if I make a mistake in rendering and need to clear it off and start fresh, I wish there was an easy way to do it. I agree, Roc, if someone stole our stuff, would be in the same position, off to court we go.Comment

Hmmm...let's see...the guy obviously does not have the original, there's a watermark he needs to remove...last time I checked 2+2 still =4. That's why people are 'blasting' him.Originally posted by LittleMackIt's sad someone can't give a simple answer without blasting the person....Comment
