				LCD Monitor? CRT? Laptop? Suggestions?
So I've been runing dual 21" Sony (Dell) flat screens for about 2 years. Dell has a special for the 2001FP 20.1" 1600x1200 native LCD monitor shipped for $509. I'm about 2 clicks away from ordering. What I'm wondering is what you use and why, and if you had to buy now, what would you buy (other than an apple cinema display because i'm not spending 4k on a monitor) |

				 | I use a single 17" Proview TFT, it gets the job done, I'm seriously considering getting a 19" or another 17". TFT's are so much more easy to deal with, CRT's are old, bulky and hurt my eyes. Wish I could get a 20.1" LCD for $509 i'd snap it up so quickly.. cheapest I can get a 19" LCD here is £300 ~ $580 |

				 | I've been wondering the same thing. My 17" CRT needs a replacement, but I'm not sure how the LCD's are with the picture processing I have to do.

				 | I have this dilemma too! I have CRTs now and would like to get 19" LCD, but I do graphics & photos processing (nothing spectacular). I was trying to look around and compare online, but I would love to hear from people here if they think LCDs are graphics capable & if so which ones. Any suggestions will help because I am not a hardware expert! |

				 | I actually went backwards, from LCD to CRT... I need to do colour correction and the like which is difficult on most normal LCDs since the contrast and colour changes slightly as you shift your head. I still have the LCD monitor sitting on the desk, waiting for an extra cable so I can hook it up as a second monitor. |

				 | I use the Viewsonic VP201b LCD monitor and I absolutely love it. The colors are beautiful and the clarity is unbelievable. It's a little more than some of the other monitors out there, but I think it's definately worth it. |
