BlackBerry 7250 or Treo?
Hi,
I am due for a phone upgrade and was thinking about moving to a PDA phone. What do you guys suggest and why? I am on Verizon. Thanks - Z |

I just looked at both.
Blackberry has "push" technology that is always retrieving your emails while Treo has "pull" technology where you have to fetch your emails when you want them. Treo can surf all html websites but Blackberry cannot... not sure I would do much surfing on either one anyway though as the download speeds are horrific. I believe that the Treo can view jpgs and pictures but the Blackberry cannot. Buttons on the Treo are a little small to work with. Treo's unlimited download package is much more expensive than Blackberry ($100 vs. $60 where I live) I think those are the major differences. |

I had the blackberry, switched to the Treo which I thought I'd never live without - but after the 3rd one broke (mind you they replaced it free of cost) - I went back to BlackBerry.
I can't count the number of times I've dropped my blackberry onto any surface and it's survived - it's "push" technology is also a lot better, but can be annoying when you receive too many emails - fine tune your filters.
