Anyone else here has an aquarium ?

Just curious - I have two since half a year. One containing guppies and platies (60 liters), another one (180 liters) housing 6 angelfishes and corydora's.

As dumb as it may sound, it's a nice hobby and breeding them is the coolest thing to do.

So... anyone else ?

55 Gallon with 6 baby turtles (red eared sliders) and some goldfish, and a pond with some koi.
Very relaxing hobby.

that is what I have a red eared slider, you put the goldfish in with the turtle??
I didn't know you can do that. What do you feed your turtles, I have been told many things? I feed her salmon, chicken, fruit and vegetables.

I've got a couple tanks. One is a cichlid tank (blood parrots, kenyis, electric yellows and a couple green corys). The other just has two green corys, rosy barbs and a couple rosies, which were live food for the africans, but were too big for them to eat.

Yeah the turtles eat some of the fish, but can't catch them all. When they're young feed them a high protein (not too high fat) diet, as they get older more & more veggies. I feed them commercial turtle food with vitamin D3 supplement since they don't get any sun, low fat lunch meats are great, and lettuce, they don't eat many veggies when they're young but it becomes a majority of their diet as they get older. Make sure you have a floating island the turtle can bask on and get totally dry, they love to bask and it helps prevent algae & shell rot eating away at their shells. Snails, worms, crickets and many other critters are great treats.
