YOUR BOSS was hitting me up for ADVERTISING while you were doing this. Your EMPLOYER was attempting to do business with me, so I tried to make the best of the situation. In the end though, i guess you ended up doing what you were paid to do.

Actually, I had a phone meeting planned with your boss the day you came on my board. I actually thought you were part fo their "advertising plan" as i am sure it still was. You never do these things for any other reason then who you work for.

Chris had contacted us about advertising, wanted to get on the phone to discuss it. Right before this was supposed to go down, Amp pulls this cp stunt, including threads with the titles "Fletch fucks little boys," no clue why. It left me baffled that we were going to do business with his employers who I don't think fit cp in with their advertising image, but what gives? SO, I didn't know what to think..... was Amp aware of this advertising plan? and was it some sort of sick promotion? or what?? Honestly I did not know what to think because it had just been announced that Amp was their new designer, everyone knows his board rep, and they're hitting us up to buy ad space and then he goes berzerk. So we never pursued the phone conversation because we were not comfortable with the situation and that was that. End of story. But it seems you guys want to crack this open, so go for it.

Not sure it was my post that triggered this thread, but I do feel pointed at.

Just to clarify things, I do have a good client base, however they're more interested in buying a whole package, namely a TGP/MGP grown to a certain size, with design. The fact that I choose to advertise a design promo on GFY has more to do with the fact that I hate cold-calling on my current clients to ask if they'd be interested in designs, so I'd rather risk being flamed on GFY, but at the same time get some attention.

My recent altercation with Fletch I think had more to do with the fact that we specialize in different things. He converts traffic, I build it. Each of these might require different techniques and lack of understanding in either part will most likely spur lively discussions. I might've lost my cool a bit over this, which I apologize for, but I still stand by what experience has taught me, as I know Fletch will.
