I'm doing the usual and necessary things in mainstream channels but it was suggested to me that I should also post something here on the off chance someone here has a real and serious interest in doing something phenomenal in the mainstream industry - but hasn't found the right opportunity.

This is going to be a long post - so for those with just a passing fancy of making a move into something mainstream and have a few extra bucks, this isn't for you so I?ll save you time now by directing you to the next ?Would you hit it thread?.

About Me:

For those that don't know me, I've been in the business since 1997. I'm *very* low key and do all of my work/business in the adult market through word of mouth. Most old timers know me - or know of me - but for those that don't, I have an impeccable reputation with those I've ever done business with.

I am the guy that invented some software a lot of you might refer to as spyware - though I called it (and still do) intelliware. I bring it up only to point out that what I do is "outside the box", has wide sweeping effect on the marketplace and that particular software has spurned the spyware distribution market and the spyware removal market - and no, I do not and have not distributed that software is a very long time. If you hate spyware, direct your anger toward the malicious copycats out there now. But enough about that.

4 years ago I had an idea to do something in the mainstream market. When I say "something", I don't mean that to be construed as blind ambition. I knew exactly what I wanted to build but I will not go into any specifics here - so "something" it shall be referred to as. The software I wanted to build required 2 key pieces of hardware. One was readily available. The second, however, had yet to reach the market place. I could have used alternatives but I design software that works well and is user friendly and decided not to move forward with this project until it could be done correctly. The hardware is available now and 100% of my time/effort is used solely for this project.

The Market:

The mainstream market I am entering was, in 2003, a 250 billion dollar industry. One company I have been keeping watch on, and the one I would consider a leader in the market place, has posted over 470 million dollars/year in gross revenue for the last 4 years in a row ? and they started out exactly like I am doing now. They can only offer their clients a .03% redemption rate and they are a public company who?s stock is sitting at over $25/share. They interact with the consumer after they have made a purchase. My software interacts with the consumer while they are in the process of buying and because my software is designed with the client in mind, I can offer the client a 100% redemption rate and control ? the likes of which they?ve never had access to. If you?re in the United States or Canada, you?ll know which company I?m talking about should your interest level and capabilities to be a part of what I am building warrant a more detailed conversation and I identify them to you.

This is not a web property. While we do have a website for informative information for the consumer and web access for manufacturers and retailers, this is an offline business with a presence inside actual retail stores ? but I can promise what I show you and explain in greater detail, will blow your socks off! A provisional patent application for the software is already in the works. I won?t give any promises on the revenue the company will generate but I will tell you this. I?ve built my software and used hardware in such a manner that I believe we should be able to out perform the gross revenue of the company I mentioned above within 2 years of operation.

What Is Needed:

I?ve been able to do business from the home office since 1997 but this company isn?t something where a home office would suffice. The need for an actual office is paramount and a staff of 8-10 people would be needed ? but that number would grow quickly.

Office equipment, payroll, legal services, accounting services and all the other expenses you can imagine to start up a staffed office are necessary as well as significant hardware purchases. I have already spoken to one person who has expressed an interest in being part of what I am building when I acquire the remaining funds necessary. I am seeking an additional $350,000.00 for the project. A budget will, of course, be made available for your examination.

I have been talking to Dell regarding some of the hardware purchases and they are excited and willing to be a part of what I am doing and the company that produces the hardware I have waited so long for has already made 2 trips up to Seattle to meet with me to discuss my long term plans and how they can help me achieve the goals of the company.

Who You Are:

While yes, the ability to provide all or a large portion of the remaining funds are necessary, I?m not just out to find someone capable of providing funding. I need to know you, know of you or know people that know you.

You?ve become successful through hard work rather than ?get rich? schemes. You are also a visionary and can comprehend results without necessarily understanding the method. I mention this because I will be showing you a proven business model that I can almost certainly guarantee you?ve never given any thought to, may not be familiar with and quite possibly never knew there was so much revenue being generated from it.

The company I am building will be dealing with all of the largest manufacturers and retailers in the United States and Canada so you must have a non-adult company set up or are willing to set one up.

You must be willing to sign a non-disclosure and non compete. This is required and I will not discuss anything with you without one.
