Buying Bandwidth
I'm just about to setup my own domain and get off the free servers now. I know this is a general question, but based on experience what's a good estimate to start off for a hosting plan? I'll be submitting 1 gallery everyday to some of the bigger TGPs. I don't want to pay for bandwidth I don't need and I certaintly don't buy too little. Is 100 gigs a fair amount? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

really that would depend on the size of the page loads and the average traffic from the TGP's

Yes, I know that. That's why I say this is a general question, but for instance if you were just starting out and you knew then what you do now how many gigs would you buy?

If you have 15 thumbs at 3k each, 15 pics at 35k each, and a 7k html page, then 300 gigs per month per domain would be a good estimate. Just find somewhere that'll give 200 gigs and an overage of less than $1.1 per gig and you'll be fine. You may estimate using 10 gigs per day but don't forget to take into consideration that it costs money to keep those old galleries up.
