What's wrong with my ICQ - it's acting very weird. Help!

I can start ICQ, it goes to the system tray, but from there it doesn't respond to
left cllick or a right click, I can not even close it now. It's been like this since yesterday, am I the only one?

How can I close it at least? Ctr + Alt + Del doesn't help, it doesn't show amongst the running programs

ICQ starts acting for 3 reasons:
1. Your users list is over 400 people (my case)
2. Your history isn't optimized
3. Your an idiot!

3 is a rare case, so disregard that one.
Did you try restarting your PC?

I think I remember an old version of my ICQ doing that as well, and when I was able to delete all of the history and turn of saving history, it behaved normally again.

I have less than 10 people on ICQ, and I have restarted my PC at least 4 times since yesterday - today I put another memory stick therefore I had to restart again...

When I started ICQ today a screen appeared briefly, I couldn't read what it said exactly cause it disapeared quickly, but I think it said ".......... new version.................." ???

Any ideas?

Is it faster, more stable, using less system resources?
