Can't speak for LCD, but I have a Infocus X1 projector I use for watching movies and xbox gaming. Looks fantastic for the money... pretty cheap..

Problem I've heard with Infocus is the bulbs burn out way too soon. They're very expensive.

i have a 60" LCD sony at my cottage and a 60' panasonic DLP at my house.

that's a very fair comparision of the two units from someone who's had them almost a year now

the DLP is better - hands down. thinner - and sharper picture that shows up better in high light conditions. they are similar cost - get a DLP

You are talking lcd and dlp projection right? Cause the LCD's that are like plasmas are much better!

What you have Sleazy is a Sony lcd rear projection, not a pure lcd. Sleazy is right though, the dlp will give you a better picture than a lcd rear projection, but not better than a smaller pure lcd. Of course if you want a bigger screen you'll have to go with a rear projection, plasma or dlp. Dlp is still new and the technology varies widely between manufacturers. Prices are coming down quickly on the dlp and you can pick up last years models at great pricing. You'll get a better response if you post this at avsforum.com

yes - both projection and not the thin wall mount.

they are about the same width as a DVD player.
