Does Network Solutions redirects inactive customer domains by default to.... http://landing.domainsponsor.com ?

I am interestied in purchasing a domain name but I am not sure if the owner if redirecting it to Domain Sponsor or if Network Solutions is capitalising on that, because it is inactive and the owner isn't even aware of any type in traffic this name might receive.

Agreed. Normally they redirect to some sort of sign up netsol page.
