And.....to add a little spice to this thread......also add the lowest price you ever remember for gas.

I remember $.16/gal for Reg. My dad had a corner grocery/station and I used to pump the gas for customers. The fuel companies would bring us barrels of diesel fuel that they'd have us give the local farmers for their tractors and machinery.....for FREE!

Course, cokes were a dime, Hershey's were still a nickel and there were loads of great "penny candies."

THOSE were the good ol' days!
