Any good freeware defrags?

Any good freeware defrags that don't take 3 days to finish or stall in the middle somewhere?

Googled it, found a few, but I'd like opinions...certain people on here actually know their shit.

Tip: always do a defrag in safe mode. Usually stalls or slow defrags are because of something running in the background interferring.

Best Tip and is the only time you should ever defrag is in safe mode, the thing stalls because of disk activity, how can you be moving data around when this is happening? It will have to rescan..... too late to get technical just safe mode it
