I"ve never been to a conference or any webmaster gathering. The sponsors I push and the people that make me $$, havent ever had a problem with it. Didnt realize you had to attend every convention there was to be considered, "somebody".

But i think it's clear that none of them mind him not being at shows because nobody has whined or complained about it. Except for you, of course, and you're not one of his clients, are you? So who cares? And i've purchased traffic from before, so i guess i am a client, just not a current one. So i guess that puts me in a better position to point out the concern (or lack of concern, more acurately) of Choker's absence from shows.

I certainly don't think any less of any family man who attends more than a few shows every year. It's not really going to be that much time away from your family so i don't see it as a problem. Choker is clearly a family orientated guy and wants to spend as much time as he can with his kids, and i've got a lot of respect for that. He has no need to attend shows, so he doesn't. Also, please, give me a situation where anything related to Choker's business couldn't be handled over the phone, icq or via email. I've never seen anyone bitch about it, and i'm pretty sure nobody but you ever has.
