Well, here's what I don't understand... and I don't know, maybe it's just me, but I can't seem to figure this out.

If someone needs to hire a designer (or anyone for that matter) for whatever... banners or sites or fpa's or painting your fucking house or whatever... then it's obviously because they need to hire one. And it's usually because of 1 of 2 reasons:

Either they need good design because they can't do the job,

or they're so busy they can't afford the time it takes to do the job.

So, what I don't get, is if it's important enough to HIRE someone to do something... ANYTHING... not just design, but any kind of job... do you really want the fuckin' guy on the median strip at the intersection holding the fuckin' cardboard sign saying "Will work for traffic"?

Is that how much your project means to you?

I know it seems I get bent everytime a new *designer* pops in, whoring their *talents* every few hours.... but I'm really not in the least bit threatened by people like this... any more than I'm threatened by the clown on the median strip begging for scraps.

I do find it extremely funny though, that someone's has such a low level of dignity on one end, and lack of taste on the other.

Thats me! I got ok skills, but not mad design skills.

However I have to disagree on a couple points. Cheap dont mean bad.

I got some CS kids still in school who do me insane perl programming for 10% of what it would cost me if I had it done by a so called "pro". And done quicker.

Also, my design that pulls the most revenue for me was done by a kid who never did a job for anyone else ever cause he thought his design skills sucked... and let me tell you, the kid is a fucking prodigy and I got it done for dirt dirt cheap.

I have also had designs done by some of the bigger boys as well, but they cost around 900 more than I can pay some starving college student who is getting his degree in cs or design.

College students. A severely untapped resource.

It's because -=HUNGRYMAN=- dropped his sorry cheating ass !!! Now he's gone running back to Tam,(and Yo Yo Bean) to try to get him some design work ...

Where do I start ?!? Maybe with the fact this person, who's name is TennisAce on ICQ, and DANEIL KING-TURNER in the real world, is a complete FRAUD !!!

Tam put me onto this "young talented designer, who does cheap flash" several months ago ... I contacted him, and saw some of his "so called" designs, and decided to hire him on staff ...

I first had him do a flash intro for my wife's website ... several things about how he went about it were kind of strange, but I did not worry about it (example: I asked him to do MINOR changes to the movie, and it took him another day to get back to me with a change that I could have done myself in 5 minutes).

He claimed that he was "REALLY GOOD" at web design and photoshop as well, so I got him to do me a few sample banners to see what he was made of ... THE BANNERS SUCKED ASS, and I told him so !! My 6 year old son couold easily be taught to do the calibre of banners he showed me ...

Well ... Mr TennisAce Daniel King-Turner told me that he never liked doing banners, but if I were to give him an entire website to do, that he "would not let me down",

Me ... being the kind-hearted person I am, gave him that chance ... Now this is when things got really fucked up ...

Several days later I have some guy contact me on ICQ and ask me to authorize him ... I asked him who he was, as I do not just authorize anybody (I already have over 600 people on my list )He informs me that he was doing a website for me, and had some questions about it

He went on to say that some guy named TennisAce had contacted him to "do a website, for which he did not know how much he would be paid, or when, and MOST IMPORTANTLY, was that when he finished the site and gave it to TennisAce, he was to DESTROY all the design files and evidence that he had designed the site RIGHT AWAY !!"

This sounded sooo strange to this guy that he did a WHO IS on the domain, and that is how he located me, as my ICQ number is listed on my own website.

Once I figured out what was going on ... I confronted TennisAce about it, and he claimed to know NOTHING of this other guy originally, but one I cut and pasted some HIS conversation with this other guy, that the other guy had sent to me to show me how retarded this deal sounded, TennisAce quickly changed his tune ...

But instead of fessing up to it ... he goes on to blame this other guy, saying this other guy is a friend of his, that must have found out that he was doing that site for me, and contacted me trying to get me to have HIM do the work for me, in turn fucking TennisAce ..
So I asked TennisAce to send me one of the PSD files to the project he was working on ... He hummed and hawed, and gave me some excuse I cannot even remember, but bottom line told me that they wer on his other computer, and he could not get them for me until the next day ... little did he know though, that this other guy had already sent the files to me ... all the proof I needed as to who the REAL author of the work was ... Then TennisAce started sending THREATENING ICQ messages to this guy promising physical harm to him if he did not stop trying to fuck him over ... (TennisAce lives in New Zealand, and this other guy lives in Arizona.)

I did my homework, and discovered that TennisAce is nothing more than a FRAUD, who can not design to save his own life ... rather he delegates other "wannabe designers" to do the work for him, which explains why there is no consistancy in the quality of his work ... RIGHT TAM ?!?

Look at the flash banners that TENNISACE did for Tam, and then look at the intro he did for my wife's fashion site ... You and I both agreed that you got ripped of Tam ...

That is because Daniel probably delegated the work to TWO different people !!

Daniel's scam is to get a design job for whatever price he can, find somebody else to design it and DESTROY the evidence, collect the money from the client, and take a cut of it and give the rest to whoever did the work ... and I am pretty close to proving that he never paid the people who did "HIS" designs for him !!

I did not come forward with this 3 weeks ago when it happened, but now that I see this BULLSHIT post ... threatening to take the food off of my family's table, I thought you guys had the right to know ...

Daniel ... I told you that If you rubbed me the wrong way I would personally expose you ... well guess what ?!? You just rubbed me the wrong way ... sorry KIDDO !!

And yes ,,, in case anybody is interested ... TennisAce IS only 17 years old !!! I hesitated hiring him when he told me that ... but he assured me that his family was OK with him doing adult design, as it was giving him the money to pay for his tennis (He's supposed to be ranked #1 in New Zealand ... but wouldn't he be a little better off financially if he were ?!?)
