So true. PR is important for certain types of promo methods. Worthless for others.

I think one of the main ones is to link doirect with sponsor code and not a redirect that is relative to you. If a sponosr changes all their codes it can takes years to replace and update them all. It is is a redirect on your server you just change on link.

A LONG way from always being a mistake. Some people make very, very good money from doing just that because they're simply better than the person who had the idea originally.
