Hi all,

I just got off the phone with Dokk. His neck surgery went well yesterday. Tomorrow he will have the triple bypass surgery.

Dokk said "It ain't my time yet. I still have things to do." He sounded very upbeat and positive. I asked if there is anything he needed or wanted people to do for him, and he said he's fine.

He wanted to pass along his thanks to everyone who's offered up good wishes for him. The doctors say that he may be home as early as Sunday or Monday. :thumbsup

And a correction of my original post, he rushed himself to the hospital.

Don't know the guy but best wishes to him!

That's the same hospital my dad went to when he had a heart attack, and he's still with us. :)

My father was good friends with Dokk way back in his BBS days, so I know he'll be wishing him good health. He even went to Dokk's house a few times back then. I'm going to e-mail him and let him know.

Hi there,

I just got off the phone with DoKK. His triple bypass yesterday went extremely well. 2 arteries were blocked about 100%, the other one was about 85% blocked. DoKK's voice was 100% back to normal and he sounded great. They are looking at a possible release date of Sunday.

He is still connected to some tubes, one for his next and a couple in his chest. He has been able to walk around. He found out that if he doesn't lay down correctly, it is the most intense pain he's ever felt.

DoKK's blood pressure is at optimal levels, and his circulation and complection are noticeably improved. He is off the ventilator. He said the entire hospital staff have been excellent.

DoKK wanted me to publicly thank Alien and Rick Latona for their extremely generous act. :thumbsup :thumbsup
