The Corporation

I watched this new documentary yesterday called The corporation and I think it was a very interesting and complete documentary.

They explain what is a corporation, the history of corporations, what is the problems with bad corporations and analyse why, why they have now more power than goverments, what we can do etc.

This documentary isn't a corporations hater movie. There's is a couple business men who are interviewed and gives their opinions about what industries can do to stay a good one and a business of choice. The CEO of Shell was talking about how he decided to care more about environment and how he successed in polluting less and making a fair amount of profit and keep his shareholders happy.

Anyways, this is just a small part of the movie. If you can find it somewhere, it totaly worth it!

Definitely a great documentary, but it's not new. It started out as a two part TV show in Canada and then they released it in theaters and on DVD.

The most memorable part for me was the interview with the CEO of the world's largest commercial carpet company, I can't remember it's name offhand. "We're plunderers", I'll never forget that line.

If you liked that movie and the underlying theme, here's a must read book:

Plus it's waterproof so you can read it in the bathtub no problem. :

I didn't know it started out as a TV show! Is the show the same thing as the movie?

If not, I will check this out for sure!
