As one who talked to Railz in the early days and tried my hardest to make it clear to him that there were no quick bucks to be made here I have to say how impressed I am with him.

When I've had technical problems at nice times of the day for me and crappy times of the day for him he has always been there to help. It's a pity that there are not more newbies like him.

BTW Fatpad called Cheeky and me old timers the other day - Cheeky may yet kill you for that one mate - but I still bumble along like a newbie every time I seek to expand my horizons.

Hmm I think it's kinda strange.. we help out the newbies making the competion harder but I never saw a post saying smth like "Hey pro gallerie builders.. let's work together and make a list on some protected website of what tgpwebsites are worth submitting to."
No instead of helping eachother we all submit to too many tgp websites paying too much for our traffic.. and helping the newbies to do the same thing..
Maybe it's time we do stop helping newbies and try to focus on how to make this business more profitable for US..
Do you guys even got a clue what would happen if this info is open for the 'happy few' ?
I bet a lot of tgp's only get submits from newbies who're submitting to every tgp on this planet and I bet WE all make about twice as much because finaly in the adultindustry we discovered the nice benefits of working together and working efficent ;-)

I post maybe 3 or 4 times a day on different boards: occasionally opinion, but mostly answers to questions.

I don't do it to help anyone, although I hope it does. I do it because I enjoy it in the same way other people enjoy crossword puzzles. I have never believed that sharing info is going to hurt me: the 'net is just too big. On many occasions, thinking about a question has given me a new slant on something, even a completely new idea.

Several newbies have also turned into experienced webmasters with whom I have worked. That's no bad thing in a business with so many arrogant a**holes who haven't learned the lesson yet about passing people on the way up and on the way down.

Good points jayeff.... and don't forget guys, just telling a person some info. doesn't mean they will know how to make that info. work for them.... The ones that do make it work probably would suceed either with or without your help. At least if you are the one to lend a helping hand maybe you will be in a position to be helped later on.
