    NameServers with SEO question

I know static IP's matter, but do nameservers? was trying to figure it out but couldnt find any info on it anywhere. Hopefully the big SE guys will know. if you'd rather not post publically.. ICQ: 191-402-709

    Thanks!
SIG TOO BIG! Maximum 120x60 button and no more than 3 text lines of DEFAULT SIZE and COLOR. Unless your sig is for a GFY top banner sponsor, you may use a 624x80 instead of a 120x60. Let me repeat... A 120 x 60 button and no more that 3 lines of DEFAULT SIZE AND COLOR text.

Nameservers do have an affect, I've tried a method myself, which didn't work due to Nameservers, Also it has been suggested that the WHOIS info can have an affect now too.

Though I'm not an SEO expert, directories are a key to good serps.

        Hope it helps

My apologises, should have expanded on that a bit, I meant Web directories, such as: Dmoz, Yahoo, etc etc Microsofts Business Directory is good for traffic with mainstream sites

As for actually naming your pages/directories on a domain, test the difference. I keep as much SEO off my pages now for google and just try and build them naturally towards the keyword(s) with good relevant inbound links and links from web directories etc!

But as I've said I'm not an expert

Very True but it's also knowing what ones to submit to, trouble with DMOZ is many of the categories aren't assigned an editor, so basically you could wait and very long time, try and look for a category which closely fits the nature of your site and has an editor assigned to it! If you submit a good content site then you should be ok
