I admit I fell for it also.

How many times do we sit at our desks trying to work and wish we could just shut ICQ and AIM off and get our work done.

Then the minute they go down what do we do? Reboot everything and check the boards about why they are down.

So it doesn't matter if they are working or not those programs still interfere with the work that needs completeing.
