Any slow readers here?
I've always been a slow reader. Not like a turtle but slow enough that I've probably only read 4-6 books from cover to cover in my life. Instead of books, I usually read articles, editorials, portions of books that interest me (almost never novels).
Do any of those speed reading courses actually work while allowing you to understand the material the same? |

What a coincidence. Bought this the other day http://www.eyeq.tv Decided to get it after I did the test and doubled my speed and also see the princibilities that it is based off of. Now I need to find something for memory enhancing.

I've always read at what I believe a normal pace. I guess I have about 1000 books in my library. 80% I've read front to back the rest are just reference books.
Don't know about the classes. Try one and see. |

doesn't really matter if you're a fast or slow reader as long as you understand what you are reading!

http://www.acereader.com/ is also a good one to increase your reading speed.
Learning to read and memorize faster is like adding an upgrade to yourself, very cool stuff. |

I think I am a speed reader, I know I read faster than most people. I think it is because my mom taught me to read when I was like 5 years old and I used to read tons and tons and tons of books when I was a kid. Now all I read is Cosmo magazine and tabloids
but the art of reading fast has always stayed with me.But I always have to read super slow whenever I am reading anything scientific or having to do with science, chemistry, things of that nature. For some reason it's hard for me to concentrate on those subjects (prolly because it doesn't interest me) but when reading regular books I just fly. |
