I have been offered a great deal on a weekly rental of a flat in Bruges. I love that town. The flat has internet access so I could work a bit when I am there.

Is there something like AOL or a cheap dial in isp that I can use when I am there and then dump?

I am headed to Europe in May is all goes well, I have alot of family in GENK, and some other small surrounding towns. I will also be touring Italy, Switzerland, Germany, France, and some other countries while on my 6 week tour.

You have any reccomended locations I should visit, and or that i should research before i go?

I went to Brussels and Antwerp on some business trips and used a free provider.
I think it was:

Does your flat have cable-internet access or do they mean internet access as in "there is a phone line" ?
If it's got "telenet", there should be a cable-modem and the installation disks to install it ... (the owners have to pay a flat fee of $35 a month to have that)

If they mean internet-access throught the phone-line you should pick up one of them free isp CD-ROMS to install one (in that case you'll by for your phone-connection by the minute)

I did some research for you, and you can pick up one of them CD's in these stores in Gent

They also have a free access package, but you'll have to let them send you the CD-ROM ...

So, make sure what the meant with internet-access ... if it's cable, make sure they leave the cable-modem and installation disks

otherwise pick up one of them free CD-ROMS above.

Wow, thanks. Honestly, I don't know yet what they mean by internet access but I have some emails in to find out.

I went to Bruges and Ostend on a day trip earlier this year and fell in love with Bruges and need to spend some more time there.

Researching this is helping me learn my Euro conversions as well.
